Terms of Service

Effective 22 July 2026. Rules for using PackKardo pickup and car-handoff.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PackKardo mobile and web applications, websites, and related services that help customers order ahead from restaurants and collect orders in person or via car pickup. By creating an account or placing an order on PackKardo, you agree to these Terms.

1. Platform

PackKardo is a technology platform connecting customers with partner restaurants. We provide software for browsing menus, placing pickup or car-handoff orders, and paying online.

PackKardo does not prepare, cook, package, or alter food. Food is prepared and fulfilled solely by the restaurant partner that accepts your order.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information (including a verifiable mobile number) and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent or abusive.

3. Food quality

The restaurant partner is solely responsible for:

  • Food quality, freshness, and ingredients
  • Allergens and allergen labelling
  • Hygiene and safe food handling
  • Packaging suitable for pickup or car handoff
  • FSSAI compliance and other applicable food-safety requirements

4. Allergies

Customers are responsible for informing the restaurant about allergies or dietary restrictions (for example via special instructions or by contacting the restaurant).

PackKardo cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Cross-contamination risk remains with the restaurant’s kitchen and processes.

5. Foreign objects / food-related illness

Any contamination, foreign object, food poisoning, or food-related illness is the responsibility of the restaurant, subject to applicable law.

PackKardo will assist in resolving complaints through in-app Help or support channels, but is not the manufacturer or preparer of the food.

6. Menu and pricing

Restaurants are responsible for maintaining accurate menus, prices, item availability, and preparation times.

PackKardo displays the information provided by the restaurant. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, the restaurant may cancel or adjust the order in line with our Refund Policy.

7. Orders and pickup

When you place an order, you authorize payment for the amounts shown at checkout (items, taxes, and any platform fee).

Customers must arrive within the pickup window shown in the app (based on the restaurant’s prep time / readiness status).

Restaurants may dispose of uncollected food after a reasonable time once the order is ready. Refund eligibility for uncollected orders is governed by the Refund Policy.

Special instructions are requests to the restaurant only; they do not create an automatic right to cancel or refund.

8. Car handoff

Car handoff is available only at participating restaurants that enable the feature.

You must arrive at the designated pickup point and provide accurate vehicle and parking / pin details when asked.

Delays or failed handoffs caused by incorrect vehicle details, wrong location, or customer unavailability are the customer’s responsibility.

9. Payments

Payments are securely processed through third-party payment providers (for example Razorpay). Supported methods may include UPI, cards, and wallets as offered at checkout.

PackKardo does not store complete card numbers on our servers.

10. Platform fee

A platform fee (shown at checkout as a percentage or amount) may apply to orders. Platform fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where PackKardo determines otherwise.

11. Refunds

Cancellations, no-shows, restaurant cancellations, payment failures, duplicate charges, wrong or missing items, and food-quality complaints are handled under our Refund Policy.

See Refund Policy.

12. Customer obligations

You agree to:

  • Keep contact details accurate and reachable for order updates
  • Arrive for pickup or car handoff on time
  • Use the app lawfully and respectfully toward restaurants and support staff

13. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with other users or restaurants
  • Submit false information, fake orders, or abusive content in reviews or support
  • Use PackKardo for unlawful purposes or in violation of food-safety or consumer laws

14. Intellectual property

The PackKardo name, logo, app, software, and PackKardo-created content remain the exclusive property of PackKardo or its licensors. Restaurant names, logos, and menu content remain the property of the respective restaurants.

You may not copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer the apps except as allowed by law.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PackKardo’s liability arising from your use of the platform is limited. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages arising from restaurant services (including food quality, delays caused by the restaurant, or kitchen operations).

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable Indian consumer law.

16. Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using PackKardo, you also acknowledge that policy.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this document will change when we do. Continued use of PackKardo after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

18. Governing law
